What is scanix Bus QR Attendance?

scanix Bus QR is built on the same card-based model as Fixed QR Attendance, adapted for school and office transport. Every student or employee who uses the bus is issued a printed ID card with their own fixed QR code. Instead of a teacher, it is the Bus Operator — the driver or conductor — who carries the scanix mobile app and scans each passenger's card, one by one, as they board.

Each scan is resolved in under a second and the app immediately shows the operator a clear Allow Boarding or Reject Boarding decision — there is no register to check, no manual cross-referencing, and no room for a defaulting passenger to talk their way onto the bus.

Bus QR also supports an optional Fees Addon Module. When enabled, every scan is cross-checked in real time against the passenger's Bus Fees ledger inside scanix — if the fee is unpaid or overdue beyond the institute's configured grace period, the operator sees an instant "Reject Boarding — Fees Due" alert instead of a plain approval, without needing to involve office staff. This turns fee collection enforcement into an automatic part of the daily boarding process rather than a separate administrative chase.
