scanix Warehouse Attendance brings the same reliable card-based attendance model used in schools to warehouses, factories, and logistics facilities — with labourers and contract staff in place of students, and Security Personnel in place of teachers.

In its manual mode, every labourer or contract worker is issued a Fixed QR or Fixed Barcode ID card. The security guard posted at the gate installs the scanix mobile app on their own phone and scans each worker's card as they enter or exit — the same one-by-one, sub-second scan model used for classroom attendance, just operated by security staff instead of a teacher.

For facilities with heavier footfall, scanix also offers a Warehouse RFID Auto-scan Mode. Workers carry an RFID card, and instead of anyone manually scanning anything, a reader installed at the gate automatically detects every card that passes through its zone — no tap, no queue, no active scanning action required from either the worker or the guard. This is built for warehouses where hundreds of labourers move in and out across shifts, and even a sub-second manual scan per person would create a bottleneck at the gate.

Both modes support multiple entries and exits per day. Unlike a simple daily in/out mark, warehouse workers routinely step out for breaks, material handling, deliveries, or shift changes — scanix logs every single entry and exit event with its own timestamp, giving supervisors a complete in-and-out movement trail for each worker, every day.
